Yeah it is not listed underneath the cover. But I wonder if this is because the heater circuit is built within the O2 sensor of the OBD 2 cars, namely because of the 4 pins. One of them has to power the O2 sensor. Harry // 1995 Avus Blue M3 - 2003 Titansilber 530i M Sport - 2010 Black Sapphire Metallic 128i M - Sport // BMW CCA #453346 - North

The Hot Coolant Supply Hose (Inlet) is #1 in that diagram. It is the Lower of the two hoses that connects at the firewall. It has a "Quick Connect" fitting at the firewall attachment point. The hose above it is the "Return" hose (from the Heater Core back to Coolant Reservoir). It has a conventional spring hose clamp on the upper connection at
BMW has used this stratified air set-up for multiple decadeswhere the driver can temper the air from the dash vents warmer/cooler. This can help the driver stay alert on long trips by blowing cooler air toward their face, while the passengers can remain nice and warm on the family trip to the Alps. 2.
Locomotivebart said: It's perfectly normal for the AC to come on when you press auto. Not only does the AC cool the car, it also removes moisture from the air. For the no heat, I would look into whether your water valve is working or not. It failed on my old 330 but the symptoms were opposite, all I got was heat.
1) Turn on ignition, but do not start the car (foot off brake, press start twice - dashboard lights should be on) 2) Set both temp controls all the way up. 3) Hit "auto" on the climate control. 4) Turn fan control all the way down. 5) Press and hold gas pedal down for about 10 seconds.

I can shift up or down M1-M2-M3-M2 etc. although it never seems to engage Sport/mode (no change in revs or shift points) and if I hold the gear for more than 15 seconds it reverts back to the"D" setting. Hey just wondering if this has happened to anyone or if this can be related to the other E92 platforms as the actual airconditioning unit should be the same. Everything turns on and if you leave it on for awhile you can tell the condensor is still working hmr. 1201 posts ยท Joined 2002. #5 ยท Sep 7, 2010 (Edited) The E90 has a single electric cooling fan that consolidates functions of older cooling designs: the mechanical engine fan with a viscuous clutch and an auxilliary electric fan. In hotter weather, the E90 electric fan will blow faster and be noisier. Totally normal. AMv45OJ.
